DAY 1: ARRIVAL – KIGALI OR ENTEBBE
Upon arrival at your respective airport, you will be warmly greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel for some well-deserved rest. We will assist with check-in and any last-minute needs you might have, ensuring a comfortable start to your adventure.
DAYS 2-3: GORILLA TREKKING
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from your starting point to the gorilla trekking region. After checking in and enjoying lunch, spend the afternoon at leisure, soaking in the beautiful surroundings.
On the second day, after an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by professional park rangers. Embark on an unforgettable trek through the lush forest in search of the mountain gorillas. Spend precious time observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an experience that will leave you in awe. Return to your lodge to unwind, and later, visit local communities to learn about their rich culture and traditions.
DAYS 4-5: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING
After breakfast, transfer to the chimpanzee trekking region. Check into your lodge and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
On the following day, leave for the park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking experience. After a briefing, trek through the lush forest guided by an armed park ranger. Spend the day with the chimpanzees, observing their behavior and interactions. You will also encounter other primates and a variety of bird species. Return to your lodge in the evening to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.
DAY 6: ON TO THE NEXT WILD SAFARI
Conclude your safari with a transfer back to your starting city. Enjoy some leisure time or a city tour before your evening transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
