Day 1
Dar Es Salaam, Ruaha

Upon arrival and clearance of customs in Dar es Salaam, transfer to Ruaha National Park (departure time 10h30 am). You will be met by your driver/guide at the Ruaha Airstrip and taken to your lodge for check in and lunch. The lodge is the only “lodge” in the Ruaha consisting of 24 Stone Chalets that stretch along the river. Spend the afternoon on a PM game drive before heading back to the lodge for dinner. Accommodation will be at the Ruaha River Lodge on a full board basis (Game Package).

Day 2
Ruaha

After breakfast, spend the day with AM and PM game drives exploring Ruaha National Park; the largest National Park in Tanzania. Ruaha is a wilder and more remote park than its southern neighbor Selous Game reserve. Besides the “Big 5” being present, you can also expect to see wild dogs, hyenas as well as the crazy combinations of species from East and Southern Africa that excites wildlife and bird watching enthusiasts. After both AM and PM game drives, you will be tired and dusty so a well-deserved shower and an amazing dinner with night festivities at the lodge will await you. Accommodation will be at the Ruaha River Lodge on a full board basis (Game Package).

Day 3
Ruaha

Day 4
Ruaha, Katavi

After breakfast and check out, transfer to the airstrip and board your flight to Katavi. You will be met by your driver/guide at the Katavi airstrip and taken to your camp for check in and lunch. The camp consists of 6 “meru styled “ luxury tents that blend seamlessly into the environment and provide excellent views of the park. Spend the Afternoon on a PM game drive before heading back to the camp for dinner. Accommodation will be at the Katavi Wildlife Camp on a full board basis (game package).

Day 5
Katavi

After breakfast, spend the day going on AM and PM game drives through the Katavi National Park; the park for the African Connoisseur. Located along the rift escarpment in western Tanzania, it offers incredible scenery including vast wetlands and boisterous waterfalls. During the dry season, huge herds of buffalo, zebras and impalas gather with elephants, waterbucks and duikers around the drying water reserves of Lake Katavi and Lake Chada. As soon as the first rains start, Katavi transforms again into a flowering paradise with enormous swamps, lakes, rivers and waterfalls that attract an incredible diversity of bird life that include vultures and the African Fish Eagle. After both AM and PM game drives, head back to the camp where dinner awaits. Accommodation will be at the Katavi Wildlife Camp on a full board basis (Game Package).

Katavi

Day 7
Katavi, Selous

After breakfast and check out, transfer to the airstrip via an en route game drive and board your flight to Selous. You will be met by your driver/guide at Mtemere Airstrip (Selous) and taken to your camp for check in and lunch. The camp’s location is spectacular; located high up on the banks of the Rufiji River, you can be sure to be dazzled by the beautiful sunsets coupled with the sounds of wild animals and nature surrounding you. In the afternoon, go on a PM game drive before heading back to the camp in time for dinner. Accommodation will be at the Rufiji River Camp on a full board basis (Game Package).

Day 8
Selous

After breakfast, you will go on an amazing game drive through the Selous National Park; the largest game reserve in Africa and home to a third of Tanzania's elephant and two thirds of the Hunting Dog population. With Prides of Lions, large numbers of leopards & cheetahs, as well as hippos, crocodiles, and over 440 species of birds being present, you can be sure to have the experience of a lifetime. Head back to the camp in time for lunch and relaxation, before going on an afternoon game drive. In the evening return to camp for a well-deserved shower and dinner. Accommodation will be at the Rufiji River Camp on a full board basis (Game Package).

Day 9
Selous

Day 10
Selous, Dar es Salaam, Lazy Lagoon

After breakfast and check out, transfer to the airstrip via an en route game drive and board your flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Mbegani Fisheries Institute where you will board a boat and head out to the island. Arrive late afternoon and spend the rest of your day at leisure. Accommodation will be at the Lazy Lagoon on a full board basis.

Day 11
Lazy Lagoon

Today spend the day at your leisure. Relax and unwind on this private island that boasts a white sandy uninterrupted beach. Choose to take a tour and learn about the history or you can choose one of the many activities that the resort has to offer. Activities include kayaking, snorkeling, sailing amongst others. Accommodation will be at the Lazy Lagoon on a full board basis.

Day 15
Lazy Lagoon, Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, Take the boat ride to Dar es Salaam (Mbegani Fisheries) and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
